Hear from those who have attended...
"The Imaging Workshop by LaptopSchools.com provides a great opportunity “LaptopSchools has been an invaluable resource for the success of our laptop program. The collaborative sessions at the Imaging Workshop have made it possible for us to move to more creative imaging methods and staying ahead of the curve with our deployments.” "The imaging workshop is the single most important event that I attend every year. The ability to gather with other professionals with similar goals gives us the opportunity to share and bounce ideas with each other, as well as help each other with problems that others have seen before, is extremely helpful. There is also the wealth of information that is given us by the experts from such companies as Microsoft, Lenovo, and Adobe to name just a few. This is vital to the process of building images that are not problematic. Finally, the social networking that has evolved from these workshops has proven invaluable. The willingness of the attendees of this workshop to help each other with problems we run into in the workplace is incredible to say the least. I cannot thank Mike Vitiello enough for all that he does to make these events possible." "The imaging workshop has been an invaluable event for me. It allows me to see how other 1:! programs operate and I have brought back and implemented several concepts from the various discussions." "I attended my first imaging workshop in 2011. I found it to be very informative on how other schools are imaging their computers. As a result, we switched our schools imaging process-which saved us time and money. We can now image a computer in a lot less time." |
The image workshop has been one of the most valuable and necessary resources to make our 1:1 program very successful. To be able to work with Laptop Schools and collaborate with other IT directors on best practices and policies is the key to the success we have had. I very much look forward to the next workshop" “Laptop School’s imaging workshop is one of the most informative events I have attended. The amount of information, the level of expertise and the support throughout the year are outstanding. If there is only one event you can attend a year, this should be the one!” "Last year was my first year to attend after sending Brian Wimsett to the workshop for a couple of years in a row and I was definitely missing out! The information that was shared was not only useful but presented in a fun way. Not like your usual presentations. Mike Vitiello and Laptopschools.com are really onto something here, you should really come check it out!" "The imaging workshop is vital to our organization's laptop preparation and 1:1 program every year. To be able to have insider information on laptop hardware, operation system, and program's for image creation is a great opportunity and too good to pass up." "When I signed up for the workshop I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but I've got a little courage so I forged ahead. I have been in IT since 1985 starting with the first micro IBM PC with two 5-1/4" floppies, all the certs, college courses, tests, consulting, so I've been through a few things through the years. But, I have never been in a room full of the most glorious computer geeks I have ever encountered. It was absolutely wonderful! I felt like I was at home. Much to my surprise, they were even geekier than I am, because for the first two days, I had a hard time understanding them. As the language barrier broke, I started to settle in and quickly caught on after a little personal attention from John Naclerio who is very good at speaking the language of " confusion". Just with guidance he gave me at the workshop, I was able to get our MDT imaging working within the next month and image about 150 computers in a very short time. I even stole a couple of his scripts from the ning. Mike V. is the most talented host I have ever encountered. He can pull together a successful conference that is so smooth it seems effortless, but you know it's not. I am looking forward to the conference in May and really excited that it's in Las Vegas!" |
